A sunflower from Chernobyl

In the interest of science (and just showing myself that I didn't really do -all- that much baking) here's a list of what exactly I've created in the kitchen in the last week.

Banana bread
Spritz cookies
Snickerdoodles
M&M cookies
Sugar cookies
Cinnamon rolls
Rice Krispies treats
French toast cupcakes
Cake balls
Chocolate truffles
--I never got around to the fudge, will do that tomorrow or something
--I never got around to the raspberry butter braid, will do that next week


...okay maybe ten things is a lot. I DON'T EVEN KNOW

And then nobody ate a thing I baked tonight (except maybe a couple of the cake balls). WHAT DID I EVEN SLAVE OVER THAT FRICKIN' OVEN FOR ANYWAY *kills self*

And as soon as I can get my hands on some walnuts, I'm making Russian tea cakes.


AND WHY IS MY FAVOURITE GIFT THE TIN OF CRANBERRY LIP BALM??? It's like one of the cheapest things I got, but it SMELLS AND TASTES SO GOOD ZOMGGGGGG

Also, I'm sick of my family and they've only been here for the evening. I BLAME MY TWO-MONTHS-LATE CROTCHLEAKING and my family that tends to be kind of annoying

Huh.

If an author writes fanfiction for their own work does that make it canon?

What if they're writing under a pseudonym?

What if the fandom tells the author that's writing fanfiction for their own work under a pseudonym that they suck as a fanfiction writer?

Someday, I want to be that author. It would be hilarious.

Okay, seriously. Absolute Obedience? WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE PENISES THAT ARE SIMPLY MADE OF TRANSPARENT GLASS OR LIGHT OR WHATEVER. ARE THEY HEAVENLY PENISES OR SOMETHING? BECAUSE SERIOUSLY, WTF.

WTF.

On another note, I'm almost finished with the second book of the Twilight series, and my urge to burn them has not decreased in the slightest. BELLA, GROW A SPINE. AND SOME TASTE IN MEN. For crying out loud, there's actually a character with a slight personality (I KNOW, I WAS SHOCKED TOO) in there, and he really likes you (God only knows why), and you PINE OVER THE VAMPIRE WITH NO PERSONALITY INSTEAD. I got to the reunion kissing scene near the end, and shut the book. My exact words were "Ugh, barf."

On a completely different note, I've been playing Ivan (the terrible >>) over at foreignrelation (since... today XD) and started a new cold war. Over America's dislike of vodka. It was pretty epic :D God Russia, why so pedo?

MY ADD HAS BECOME EPIC. Oh god, I've got like fifteen things going at once. Well... maybe not fifteen, but a bunch. I've got D. Gray-Man in one window, LJ in another, the cesspit of voles (a.k.a. Fanfiction dot net) in another (DON'T JUDGE ME, THE FIC'S AUTHOR STOPPED POSTING IT ON LJ), three different kink memes, a bunch of anime downloads going, the latest Bump of Chicken CD on repeat on my stereo, the Junjou Romantica season 2 opening going on VLC alternating with either Fuyu no Semi or Haru wo Daiteita depending on my mood at the second, waiting for the next installment of a Kyou Kara Maou RP via email and getting ready to un-hiatus from LJRP, and in between that filling out job applications a bit at a time and trying to write either fic or original story, I haven't quite decided yet.

IT'S ALMOST THREE IN THE MORNING. MY ATTENTION SHOULD NOT BE THAT DIVISIBLE. WHAT THE HELL.

I'm also considering dragging my PS2 in here and firing up Medieval. Gah I love that game, just because of the skeleton guy and the soundtrack. It's just so much fun.

Also.

I started reading Twilight. GOD SOMEONE KILL ME WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME.

IT'S SO INANE I WANT TO BARF

But in order to mock it effectively, I figure I should actually read it. I feel like every time I pick it up, though, my IQ drops ten points. And the commercials for the movie. DDDDDDD: It makes me glad that I rarely watch TV any more. Otherwise I'd be subjected to that drivel on a more regular basis.

The best part about it, though, is that I borrowed Twilight from my cousin's HUSBAND. She even mocked him, saying that he has a 13 year old girl trapped in him. Though she invalidated her opinion seconds later by saying that she liked it. D:

Oh god kill me, I'm not even done with the first book, and I was loaned the whole series.

Ugh for some reason that reminds me I need to post a con report. Later. After I sleep. Maybe.
