I'm only 50 pages in to the third book, and I'm ready to quit. Honestly, I'm surprised I even made it this far.
LOVE IS NOT BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO, WHERE TO DO IT, AND WHO TO DO IT WITH. LOVE IS NOT BEING CONTROLLED. LOVE IS NOT BEING RESTRICTED FROM DOING ANYTHING BUT APPROVED ACTIVITIES OUT OF CONCERN FOR "SAFETY" (AKA JEALOUSY). LOVE IS NOT BEING STALKED VIA MIND POWERS. LOVE IS NOT BEING LIED TO ABOUT HUGE CONCERNS (CONCERNS LIKE SOMEONE IS OUT TO KILL YOU). LOVE IS NOT ANY OF THESE THINGS.

It makes me sick. Seriously. How can anyone LIKE this crap???

Augh, Bella was explaining to another character how she doesn't just love Edward because he's good-looking. That he's compassionate, and sweet, and all these other things. Excuse me, WHAT?? I've not seen ONE example in the book where he was shown as being loved for anything but his "breathtaking looks". SHE SERIOUSLY FORGETS TO BREATHE WHEN SHE LOOKS AT HIM. What the hell happened to "show, not tell"? WHY DID AN EDITOR NOT SLAP SMEYER ACROSS THE FACE WITH THE MANUSCRIPT AND TELL HER SHE'S RETARDED?
This is very quickly turning into a case of "FFFFFFFFFFF I CAN DO THIS BETTER"
